Qantas to commence flights between Perth and Busselton – Margaret River from June 2025

Access to Australia’s South West is set to become even easier, with Qantas announcing this morning that the airline will commence direct services between Perth Airport and Busselton – Margaret River Airport from June 2025.
Operating three flights a week, the new service will improve connections for travellers arriving from the East Coast, enabling seamless baggage transfer and a smooth onward journey to Busselton. The increased connectivity also opens the region up to new markets such as Queensland and South Australia and will allow international passengers to transfer all the way through to Busselton.
The new service is also expected to be well received by business travellers, holiday makers and local residents who travel via Perth Airport regularly for work.
The route will be serviced by a Fokker-100 aircraft, with a 100-seat capacity, providing 300 additional seats into the Margaret River Region each week. This is in addition to the existing six weekly services operated by Jetstar Australia between Sydney and Melbourne on the Airbus A320, delivering over 1,100 seats into the region from the East Coast each week.
To celebrate the announcement, Qantas are offering introductory fares starting from $149 each way for a limited time.
