About Us

About Us

Australia’s South West is a Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO). Western Australia has five membership-based regional tourism organisations (RTOs), which together represent regional tourism businesses. The RTO network is widely regarded as one of the most influential in Australia and will work with government to facilitate investment in new tourism product.

Australia’s South West represents the interests of the destination and the attractions, businesses, product and more, found within it. That includes 1000km of coastlines, 24 national parks and an array of experiences and attractions including wineries, breweries, restaurants  and a variety of tourism products.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout the South West of Western Australia / Noongar Boodjar and their continuing connection to the land, waters and communities. We pay our respects to all members of the Pinjarup, Wilman, Wadandi, Pibelman, Kaneang, Minang, Koreng Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.

Our Objective

Australia’s South West’s (ASW) objective is to build our region into one of the top performing destinations in Australia for the leisure market.

We do this by engaging people through our domestic and international marketing strategies and campaigns that focus on our diverse offerings in the region: food and wine, nature-based experiences and amazing scenery.
